Il makiage foundation colour chart8/27/2023 My bank balance told me no but my skin and confidence screamed “Yes!” at me. I can send it back if I don’t like it can’t I!? Here’s the annoying part… It’s SO good I couldn’t not keep it. Having used a majority of the well-known brands all varying in price from collection 2000 to Dior, I thought well why not. If you choose to keep the foundation after 14 days, only then will they charge you for it. They were (AND STILL ARE) offering a 14-day free trial. Then they emailed me across my results (I’m an ‘I woke up like this #030’, just in case anyone was curious). The process was quite fun to be honest, and a little different from my usual quizzes such as “what type of bread would I be” or “which Harry Potter house am I in”. I was asked what texture and finish I liked, what kind of skin I have (combination, oily etc), what did I use now, what colour did my veins show, how old was I blah blah blah… My expectations weren’t high once it was confirmed that they were essentially guessing my shade using a few automated questions (and there’s 50 colours to choose from), but regardless of my apprehension I took the quiz. No Il Makiage Review would be complete without mentioning The Quiz. So, I swiped up and started shopping – time for an Il Makiage review. Instead these were real-looking women! I thought… “Well, if they can make old Dorothy here look like she’s slept a full 8 hours every night for the entirety of her life and has been a health-conscious vegan since she was 4, I feel like this could make my tired and neglected face look a little less… tired and neglected.” These women weren’t the typical flawless, airbrushed and edited models you see on a lot of beauty pages, pore-less and not a bit of peach fuzz in sight (we all have it!). I always promote natural beauty and loving yourself just how you are… However, I think it’s safe to say you’d have to be a pretty rare breed of human to wake up each day and thinkĪnyway, one particularly boring day at work, I was aimlessly scrolling through Instagram and got sucked into the deep dark depths of the app (as you do) when I stumbled across thousands of women with beautiful skin. And you’ll be pleased to know I’ve had such an aesthetically pleasing breakthrough that I’m going to share it with you all! Starting with cleanser, toner and moisturizer she launched Fenty Skin to “create amazing products that really work, that are easy to use, and everyone can get in on.Posted By Laura in Featured, For Mums, For Teens, Healthy Living, Just for You, Review | 11 commentsĮveryone – I COME BEARING BEAUTY SECRETS!!! Okay, it’s an Il Makiage review… but I voluntarily bought it with my own money. After changing the beauty game, she decided to take over the skincare world. Get your essentials all in one click by shopping our sets + travel kits. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different.” Not sure where to start? Take our foundation shade finder quiz and get matched with unique shade recommendations based on your skin tone. Most importantly, Rihanna creates makeup to inspire: “Makeup is there for you to have fun with,” she says. From Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation, Hydrating Foundation & Powder Foundation that changed the game with 50 inclusive shades, to the fan-fave concealer and setting powder, to the wide shade range of cream blush, Fenty Beauty products are designed to feel lightweight and love to be layered. Starting with Fenty Beauty foundation, face primer and Gloss Bomb, she launched a makeup line “so that people everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades. Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty & Fenty Skin after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty-and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones.
